The Samos Mountaineering and Hiking Club organizes a hike through the Amphilysos ravine, following a route that starts in Pyrgos, descends through the lush ravine, continues towards Neochori and returns to Pyrgos.
The circular route covers 15 km and lasts approximately 7 hours. The first half runs through the ravine and includes technical passages, while the second half features a demanding uphill section of approximately 3 km. The difficulty level is moderate, rated 3/5.
The meeting time is 09:00 at Pyrgos square. Participants will travel in private vehicles. For those departing from Vathy, there will be a meeting at 08:00 at the KTEL bus station.
Participation is free for club members and costs €5 for friends of the club. Hiking shoes or boots, water and snacks are required.
