For its fifth anniversary, KerkisEchoArtspace presents “COSMIC ISLAND,” an exhibition and interactive cooking performance reflecting on community life on Samos.
Food artist Viki Lund and her team will create a collective meal from what the island provides. Visitors are invited to bring raw vegan ingredients, such as vegetables, fruit, herbs, olives or nuts—fresh, dried or pickled.
The meal will be served on Nevin Aladağ’s twelve-metre bar-counter artwork. Choreography and sound are by Jannis Seapark, while the exhibition also features Sebastian Quast’s work “Cosmic Island.”
The event includes a discussion about the secret of community. The discussion will be held in German.
