About this event
The Samos Teachers and Kindergarten Teachers Association organizes a historical walk in Platanos and Kastania, focusing on the history of the area. “We draw inspiration, learn and move forward.”
Departure from Vathy at 09:30 and from Karlovasi at 10:00. Arrival in Platanos at 10:30, followed by a visit to the National Resistance Memorial, coffee in the village square and departure at 12:00.
Arrival in Kastania at 12:30, visit to the Memorial of the Executed, lunch at a taverna with live music and departure at 17:00.
The bus costs €10 and the meal costs €20. The meal includes one portion of food, salad shared by four people, appetizers, draft white or red wine, beer or a soft drink. Registration is required by 5 November.
